PhanCon 2010 ReCap
{ see the Photo Album now uploaded... 11-30}
Wow, what a great week it was at Tyndall AFB and Pensacola NAS.
Tuesday was full of F-4's in the air and on the ground. Got to see a max performance climb and some very nice optional touch and goes with a full stop in the area where we were checking out the QF-4 drones. There were Phantoms in the air for at least two hours right through our lunch on the flightline.

Wednesday had a great briefing on the F-22, and then a closeup look at one, including the cockpit!

Thursday, a great trip to Pensacola and visit to the training squadrons there in the AM and museum in the PM.
BGen Dan Cherry then kept us captivated that evening with an update on My ENEMY My FRIEND with his visit to VietNam to meet the gent he shot down, and the return visit by him here. Brought tears to many an eye.
PhanCon 2011 is being coordinated for Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson AZ the third week in October. Nothing firm as of yet. That normally does not happen until about Feb or March. But don't wait. Start making your plans to attend now.
