F-4 Phantom II Society donates to the American Legion Post 46

At the November meeting of the American Legion Post 46 in Marshalltown,  Iowa, F-4 Phantom II Society member, Col Joe Latham, USAFR, presented a $1,000 check, on behalf of the F-4 Phantom II
Society and it's Board of Directors.  Post Commander, Randy Kessler, accepted the donation in order to maintain their F-4C Phantom.  Prior to the presentation, Jeff Heiden spoke to the members about F-4C, 63-7507, which was dedicated as a Central Iowa All Veterans Memorial in October 1993.  Joe also spoke to them about the F-4 Phantom II Society. 

"We were certainly pleased that the board authorized this generous donation, which enabled us to reach our goal of $3,000.  We now have a couple hundred dollars available for continuing maintenance and flag replacements."
