British Phantom Aviation Group

Hello everyone. Firstly, many thanks to the mods for allowing us to join your community, we look forward to browsing through the content you have all posted so far.

Secondly, please allow us to introduce ourselves. We are the British Phantom Aviation Group and we are a volunteer/non-profit organisation, based in the UK, who are dedicated to restoring and preserving the UK specific variants of the F-4 in Royal Air Force and Royal Navy service. You can find out more about our work on our website here- www.bpag.co.uk

Of particular interest to the members here may be two of our projects that both have a Stateside connection. Firstly F-4J(UK) ZE360 is an ex-US Navy F-4J that served with various USN and USMC units before being selected for the F-4J(UK) program and F-4K XT597, which was the first pre-production model of the F-4K and performed all the sea trials for the F-4K fleet aboard the USS Coral Sea and USS John F Kennedy.

As part of our process of compiling the histories of these two aircraft, we would be very interested to hear from anyone who was involved with them during their time in the USA. If you have any pics, recollections or memories of working with either we would love to hear from you. Please feel free to get in touch with us directly or comment on this thread.

Many thanks to you all.
