I am assuming you are looking for Form 5 information, ie a crews record of flight. I am not aware of any public access to same. The records are still there in NPRC in St. Louis but they don't allow access as one would then be able to see other folks SSNs, and they do not have the manpower to do a retrieval for you. Of course fifty years ago may be before they switched to SSNs but that is the excuse. I understand it is all on microfiche so a real pain to retrieve anyways.
You can always try contacting them. Just send a letter to to the National Personnal Records Center, Military Personnel Records, 9700 Page Ave., St. Louis MO., 63132-5100, asking if the flight records are available.
