Hi
I'm trying to gather some background information on the Phantom Pharewell commemorating the closure of the F-4 Weapons School Division. I believe I saw a Smoke Trails article referenced that specifically covered this event in, I believe,1984. I attended, along with literally hundreds of other F-4 FWS graduates at a monumental blow out in the Nellis O' Club, complete with one ea. F-4E which had been towed from the flight line to a place of honor outside the main entrance to the Club.
Most grateful if someone could provide or vector me to a copy of the article or provide any other information on what was one helluva wake!
Many thanks in advance
Here is a link to a listing of all the articles in Smoke Trails from the beginning to 2010. Hope this helps.

I have a catalog that lists all the articles in each Smoke Trails issue from the beginning to 2010. Send me your email and I will scan the early pages for you and send them to you. I have most of the issues from July 1990 and on so I couldn't help you with early issues. For example Volume #3, Issue #2 lists an article titled "End of an Era" which might be what you are looking for???
